I did a lot of checking around before I decided on a company for my
spray-on. Some of the companies offer matching paint but you have to be very
careful. The ones I have seen that were color matched (paint mixed with a
neutral colored polymer) didn't stand up as well as and the color faded
"differently" than the vehicle color. You end up with mismatched colors that
look worse than a regular black one ever could.
There are a lot of people offering sparyons (Rhino-lining, Armorcoat, Linex
ect). SOme use a cold process and others use heat. Still others (Like
Armorcoat and Linex) use heat AND pressure. They tend to be at the higher
end of the scale costwise, but they bond better, dry faster and last longer
than the other methods.
A plus for Linex Corp. They have a life-time guarantee. If you manage to
gouge your lining down to the metal, they will repair it... free of charge.
