Patrick,
after reviewing the TV adjustment in the FSM, I suggest my previous
method... What a piece of work the FSM is in spots...

Patrick,
The TV cable is the one on the right hand side running towards the firewall.
Its fgot a funny little white plastic clip on nut. You need to "push" the
clip on nut towards the right side of the truck (it snaps in place so you
ned to spread the top and bottom a little to get it over the clips). Once
thats loose you realize that its actually half of a threaded nut config...
now your cable is all loose so I suggest marking exactly where it was with
regards to the cable fitment prior to doing what I just told you. Once you
get it loose, move the cable housing towards the throttle body a little bit,
put the clip back on and see where your shift point is. It worked for me,
but my method was developed sans FSM (factory service manual) so I may have
violated some prime directives, but it worked... No more embarrassing rev
limiter experiences when shifting. Now the big Q is whats the optimum RPM
to shift at. Right now Im set at 4850rpm at WOT and it seems good...

I installed a Transgo shift kit this weekend. My truck is now bouncing off
the rev limiter and will not shift into 2nd when I floor it. How do I
adjust the TV cable to fix this and how much do I adjust it. Thanks
