If you want to check the axle itself:
On the axle tube, passenger side, just before the brake backing plate
there is a part number tape that circles the tube. This will have the axle
part number, the ratio and open/case or Tracloc.
If you can't read all of it, if you can e:mail me the last three numbers in
the
part number plus the alpha designation, I can tell you what it is.
Example: Part Number 52069638AE or 52070200AA or what ever you have.
Also, there is a small metal tag on one of the cover bolts that tells you the
ratio.
