The speaker size is NOT 6.5 inches. it's really more like 6.75. It's an
oversized opening. But you do have options, buy a custom plastic kit.
(spacer is needed anywayz) for about 11 bucks. If you can't find one, i can
get it for you.. or, get the pioneer 1667 speakers in crutchfield. Call them
up and talk to them. It's a speaker that's perfectly made for our lil
dakotas. What do you mean. YOU don't have to buy MB Quarts? every single
speaker system has all sizes. (except some special sizes like 6.5 S or 4x10s)
you don't have to buy MB quarts. Quality wise, they are pretty darn good, but
a cheaper infinity component set sounds just as well...
