Newsflash for all you who paid for "extras" from the Dealership... in all
likelyhood you got ripped off. Never get "clearcoat, undercoating" etc. etc.
etc. from the Dealer (they call it "mop n slop" so they know they are taking
you for a ride). Clearcoat is just a wax job and you're buying a paint
warranty. Undercoating is just a tarry primer paint that absorbs -some-
damage before the wheel wells take the brunt of it. Chrome wheels are usually
done by some hokey outfit the dealer contracts with to do the wheels (and
usually a bad job of it). Don't buy all the extra crap from dealers as
there's a huge mark-up and no real guarantees you'll like it.
To really get your money's worth do this:
Take the truck to a "Spray in Bedliner" company and have them "undercoat"
the truck with the spray in liner stuff (some will do this and it's a
bulletproof undercoating, but does gets kinda dirty so you have to keep it
clean). You can also buy undercoating and do it yourself.
Don't chrome your wheels, have them polished. It's about the same money
and it never peels. All chrome jobs will eventually peel.
Have your truck "top coated" by a good paint shop. They can put hard as
nails clear laquer or enamel on top of your paint to protect it from flaking
off. DC has some of the worst paint jobs in the country (this is fairly well
known) and the only way I've heard of to protect it is to have some real pro's
give it a touch up job with some harder paints or laquers. Remember, they
can't use lead in paint any more so it will never be like the old paint jobs
that lasted forever unless you have a laquer job done on your truck.

I took it back to the dealer told them to spray it.They looked at it told me
it was done. They only fog certain areas now they said.Since the frame won't
rust threw in three years they dont spray it,leafsprings, diff, etc etc etc

could rust threw in three years(sheet metal) and thats all.......IF YOU PAID
FOR UNDERSPRAY YOU GOT RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID have a look under your truck

such a great no SWEET truck....
I bought this truck as a showpiece the paint on it is garbage,Sure the truck
goes realy fast up to 140 klm/hr then almost vibrates apart. They say they
