In the '99 daks they have 6.5's in the door and in the back they are
oversized but I fit two sets of MB RSB 618's in without any rings, the
tweeters I had to cut into the door and in the back because I ordered
the base radio and they use different panels, if interested I can scan
some pics of it.

Yup. 6.5" in doors. I think 5 1/4 in back, but I'm not sure.
The tweeter opening is I think 1"-1 1/2" size hole.
