**sacrificial first line**

For V8;
Firing order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

Driver's side (from radiator to firewall): 1 - 3 - 5 - 7
Pass. side (from radiator to firewall): 2 - 4 - 6 - 8

Distributor turns clockwise. Assuming radiator is 12 o'clock, wire1 (for
plug & cylinder 1) would be at 1 o'clock on the distributor, wire8 (for plug
& cylinder 8) would be at 2 o'clock, 4 @ 3 o'clock, 3 @ 5:30 o'clock, 6 @
6:30 o'clock, 5 @ 8 o'clock, 7 @ 10 o'clock, 2 @ 11 o'clock.

For V6;
Firing order: 1 - 3 - 5 - 2 - 4 - 6

Driver's side (from radiator to firewall): 1 - 3 - 5
Pass. side (from radiator to firewall): 2 - 4 - 6

Distributor turns clockwise. Assuming radiator is 12 o'clock, wire1 (for
plug & cylinder 1) would be at 3 o'clock on the distributor, wire6 (for plug
& cylinder 6) would be at 5 o'clock, 5 @ 7 o'clock, 4 @ 9 o'clock, 3 @ 11
o'clock, 2 @ 1 o'clock.
