Well I am glad you brought this up.
I can tell you this happened on my 93 Dakota! On my V6, there is a stud still
in the manifold that broke off; I just discovered it about 6 months ago. The
other manifold bolts are ok, but the last hole/bolt on the driver's side
closest to the firewall is broke. I can see a bolt about 1/2" in the hole, but
not sure the best way to get it out; or if I should even mess with it. I am
just concerned I am loosing some exhaust pressure out of there; but not
concerned enough to do anything yet :) I though about trying to use a bolt
extractor, but once again I am not sure if the broken bolt actually is cause a
problem if the other manifold bolts are tight. Anyone know if the manifold
itself is threaded???? Or is the bolt threaded into the block and there was
supposed to be a nut/bolt on the outside of the manifold holding it on
tightly???
