Hi All,

Just wanted to mention a couple of things that, hopefully, clear some of
this up. Some may be interested, some not. For those not: use the delete
key as mentioned earlier. :)

I've never mentioned it before as I've already dealt with it back in '96,
but I was starting to see repeats coming through, or maybe only I got
defensive because I thought it was starting again. Plus, I also don't like
to stir stuff up that happened before and was cleared up privately.

When I first joined the list back in October 1996, I received a few private
e-mail from list members that they didn't believe I belonged on the list,
nor had anything of any value to add. Said of course, using much harsher
and cruel wording. I fought it privately and stood my ground. I won't
point fingers, nor repeat what was said. I never asked the list nor Jon for
support as I believe in fighting my own battles. In fact, I don't even
believe the person(s) are on the list anymore.

It seems as though I may have jumped the gun, but I wanted to nip it in the
bud before it seriously crossed the line. I know, I know..... relax, chill,
etc., etc. I guess it's the old "once bitten, twice shy" deal.

That's very nice of you Alan. I guess that would only work if we told you
about it. If we (women) complain about it, we're considered weak and can't
take care of ourselves (dumb, typical female, etc.). So, we try to fight it
ourselves and then get the label of bitch, crab, PMSing, and so on. It's
pretty much a lose/lose situation depending on the situation of course. I
guess I'd rather have the label of a bitch than pushover.

All is forgiven as long as I am too? ;) Ok, ok.... enough mushy sentimental
stuff and let's get back to Dakota's (only one of my most favorite topics)
