  I'm not sure what the AIS acronym stands for (automatic idle speed?), but
its the same thing as the IAC (idle air control). Its basically just a
"plunger" at the back of the TB that controls the amount of air allowed
through the TB at idle. The computer uses it to regulate the idle.
