I enjoyed the champion stock plugs in the R/T. I haven't had any
complaints about the NGK plugs I use. The Mopar wires are doing well so
far. I haven't touched the coil wire, coil, or the distributor and
rotor. My only concern is where the lag is when I accelerate from
fourth gear. If I just tap or ease into the accelerator it is pretty
shity in the go. If I give 'er enough. It downshifts and goes like a
bat out of hell. I re-gapped those NGK plugs using one of those knife
looking feeler gauge things to the factory .040. Actually I confess I
used the .018+.022 to make the right size. Each one went in snug like
normal. My R/T always turned over A OK, even as a stock truck. I say
the stock goods are great, and anything else is for show.... Although I
could physically see the wire difference between the stock wires and the
8mm Mopar wires. Does any one have any thoughts as to opening the plugs
up to a .041 or 042????

where can I get

I am running Accel Super Coil(#140021) which was $40. I am
running MSD 8.5MM
Super Conductors made for a 318 Ram(#32189) which was $60 and
Champion Truck
Plugs; 6 for $15. My Dak now starts faster, less cranks needed
and idles good;
Mostly though I have really noticed a real nice increase in
acceleration. I am
very happy with the setup.
