By the time the air goes through that long tube, it's hot anyway. You have
not really accomplished anything. I will say it again, if you want ram-air,
get a functional hood. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on this dryer hose
nonsense. Geeeeeezzzzz........

Subject: DML: CUSTOM Cheaper ram air tubing. (important UPGRADE)

Okay, i was thinking about it a LOT last nite and why the heck don't you
just
cut a hole on one side of the tube and instead of letting the tube shoot a
direct shot of air into the open air cleaner, why not WRAP the tubing
around
the open air cleaner? wouldn't that be the same as a ram air? sure, it's
not
as effective, because there will be small gaps, but isn't it about 170
dollars
cheaper??? for those out there with this set up, Please take it into
mind,
Also, it'd always pull COLD air in, not hot air. that makes a world of
difference too...

PS. TO the patent office this time..(just kidding) no more giving ideas
out.
but everyone on the DML is free to use it. Since you guys were the
inspirationg to this experiment...
