Sorry to hear this Mike; but all I can say is that it really sounds like some
kind of transmission problem. I would say find the best most reputable tranny
shop in your area and take your Dak to them. Explain your problems/symptoms
and they should do a free test drive and free examination. This is what a good
shop of here does anyways; Just have to pay for any tranny fluid they need to
replace iof they pull the pan; $15. My dads Taurus has a bad bad bad tranny,
went out 5 times under warranty and this last time out of warranty he went to
this great local tranny shop and they just did a simple test drive, exam, and
they replaced some parts and it was done in 5 hours for $175. This tranny runs
great and is very smooth at 175,000 miles. GOOD LUCK
