taking off the old fan for electric one..

Well, i bought a electric fan today, but i was looking at the old fan and i
didn't see any nuts and bolts tha held the fan and/or the fan clutch to the
pully. Is it the really big nut between the fan and pully or is that
something else?

PS. that SHROUD, won't come off unless the fan is also off. is it supposed
to be like that?
