I have an 87 T-bird approaching 200K miles that I have been using Mobil
1
since 3K miles. I change the oil twice a year (once in the fall and once
in the
spring). The engine runs as strong and smooth as the day I bought it.
Its
interesting you mention the oil seals leaking as mine started about a
year ago.
My Dakota hasnt been broken-in yet but I intend to switch over as soon
as it hits
3K.
