To answer your question, buying a Dakota is never stupid. Had you bought a
Ranger, that might have qualified. All Dakotas are great trucks, even
though some like the R/T are even greater than others. I would say be happy
you have a truck as nice as you do. There are many poor souls out there who
wish they could drive Dakotas but have to buy minivans instead.
:-) No offense to any minivan drivers. I'm sure there must be some
perfectly wonderful, warm and otherwise intelligent people out there who
have minivans.
(Hey, put away the flame throwers, I'm only kidding.)
