>>>a) 94 dB on Signal to Noise ratio
vs 99dB
                                                       b) 2volts on
Preamp Output Volt vs 4 volts
Is any big deal, I mean could I really tell the difference?<<<

lemme see if I can remember this stuff from my sound reinforcement
class.... =)

basically, the signal to noise ratio is how much louder the signal is than
the noise (on CD players, it's vertually unnoticeable). That classification
basically tells you how good the DA converters are on a CD player, and
how good the tape heads are on a Tape Machine. Basically, if the ratio is
94 dB, then you won't hear any noise untill it gets up to 94 dB, then you
will start to hear stuff =)

4V vs. 2V preout.. basically, preouts are for when you use an amp. Just
about anything out nowadays has 4V or more. The difference is subtle
to the human ear, even though it looks like a big deal on paper. Go ahead
and get the 4V, since it's not really all that more expensive.

hope this helps =)
