Yes, there is a rubberized fiber type of material that attaches around the
inner lip of the inner wheelwell. If you don't have one, take a look at
your liner. You will see a string of holes around the lip. That is where
the liner attaches, (or is suppose to be attached to).

Is there supposed to be one in the wheel well up front........I can see my
318 from outside the truck......neighbors can see what kind of oil filter I
use on my Dakota.......First they left off the storage covers off under the
back seats, now the splash shields?
