This stuff is cool. It really works.
I was in Northern Calif this last weekend, and had
a 2 mile driveway up a mud road (constant rain/drizzle the
previous week) to a back country camp. I had about 300# of
gear, food and stuff in the bed, which has a cab hi shell on
it too. I've got the factory tire & handaling pkg, which has the
235x70x15 goodyears, and mine are down to the last 30% of life.
It had a "squirmy" feel on the deep mud ruts, and on some of the
hills, I heard the rear diff start to "clunk" and jerk a bit, I
guess the newer ltd-slip diff are not as gentle as older versions.
Anyway, I had nearly no trouble getting up the hills, there was
one spot where a jeep 4x4 behind me had to use 4wh drv to get
up the hill. (he must have had open diffs).
I also found that the front wheels spray mud all over, but the
6x9 mirrors do a good job of keeping it off the front side windows.
I had a grand time, and just wanted to share the fun.
