Kyle,
No. You pay the final bid price plus shipping if that is to be included.
This is usually specified by the seller wether they will pay shipping or
not. The seller pays a fee for listing the item for sale, and another
percentage of the sale price.

In a message dated 99-03-31 13:01:20 EST, you write:

<< Ebay is an auction. The price you see is usually not what you pay. Just
like you, everyone else out there that is registered and interested on a
particular item has the ability to bid on it. Towards the end of the
auction period, you can see the price of an item skyrocket. The potential
is there for a good deal, just don't get wrapped up in bidding. Remember,
the item is usually used. Keep this in mind when bidding. Good-luck >>

Now are there any additional costs for bidding? Any costs for registering?
Say
I am bidding on an item that cost $50, and I win the bid at $50, is that all
I
have to pay or is there a transaction fee or anything like that? Thanks
again,
Kyle
