The US has among the lowest if not *the* lowest gas prices in the world.
The gas in storage is there for a reason and would not affect prices if it
was released for sale.

Don't know what kind of "reasoning" brings anybody to this conclusion. The
gas people don't buy on the boycott day, they're going to buy the day
before or the day after, so the same amount is going to be sold in the 3
day period. Even if people could boycott for a day without making it up
some other day, how would this make gas prices "drop drastically"? And how
long would the drop last? How much higher would prices be after the
rebound. I would really like to know how this person found this tidbit of
information out. Sounds like a crock to me. I think I'll buy gas that day
whether I need it or not :-)
