Is it right next to the headlight, above the parking lights? If so, its just
for looks. It is actually attached to the parking light. So when you remove
the parking lights it also comes off also. You may be able to modify it, but
looks tough. There are some plastic connectors right behind it to keep it
secure to the headlight. It would have to be a small light, and probably
wouldn't be worth the effort and time. But if you did accomplish it, it
would be a cool mod.

Subject: DML: Cornering Lights?

Maybe someone can shed a little light (pun intended) on something for me.
Just on the outboard side of the headlights there is what looks to be a
cornering light
(on '97+). Has anyone ever seen this used as a light? Was it ever intended
to
be anything other than a styling treatment? And most important, COULD it be
made functional without too much trouble? Maybe a small H-4 bulb could be
installed to turn it into an additional off-road light. Anybody have any
ideas?
