I've had both.

With stock about a 1 on the loudness scale.

A 3 chamber is a 5 (some mild popping on decel. w/V6,5spd)

A 2 chamber is an 9 (a lot of popping on decel. w/V8,5spd)

All were 3" single. I like the Flowmaster. Its not a real
high CFM muffler, but the 2 chamber flows pretty good for
the 318 and I've added resonators. The competition knows
I'm there. If I had the 360, I'd do a little more muffler
research to get it breathin' to maximum. ;)
