Not sure what cause the pumps to go bad. At 103,000 miles, I have had 2
replaced under warranty and the last 2 I did myself; total of 4 now. The
first one I did myself I bought from the dealer, which was a Carter
pump/module and this last one I bought through NAPA, which again was a
Carter, just different design. Basically this tells me that Carter pumps are
shit, plain and simple.
