I was getting a sort of "snapping" sound from my truck when starting
from a stop, and when turning at low speeds. (Almost felt like something
was "catching" or as if I ran over a rock or something.) A couple of weeks
later, my rearend tore itself apart at the strip. This could be completely
different than what you're experiencing, but it would probably be a good
idea to have someone look at it. :-)
