My black cast magnum valve covers came in today, I stopped by the dealer and
picked them up. The went straight home to install them. The install when much
smother than the air cleaner install. I was able to retain all the clips and
doodads that attach to the stock valve covers so they look like they were
factory installed. Now when I lift my hood it looks as good as the rest of
the truck. On the down side I got about 7 cuts on my hands from those same
doodads and the exhaust heat shields... ouch... The only thing that was needed
that didn't come with the kit was some lock tight. The directions say to use
it on the self tapping screws that attach the baffles under the pcv and
breather openings.
