  AT first I grabbed what looks like a cap on top with a pair of
pliers--doesn't work, there is NO CAP. With a lot of twisting--figured it
was held on by a nut that was "lock tighted"--NOPE. Finally just kept
pulling and twisting with pliers and it finally started to very slowly come
off--that SOB was just PRESSED on(about a 2" shaft) and it's really held on
with a fluted end(last 1") and pressure. Man you would think that thing was
welded, the way it wouldn't budge
