Another thing that happens to rotors is this: if you drive at highway
speeds a lot then this could've very well happened. When you are rollin'
along at around 65 or so, and all the sudden you hit the brakes and come
to almost a stop. Then, as soon as you can, you run back up to 65 again.
Well, when you hit the brakes, they heat up, especially when stoppin'
from highway speed, then the rush of air makes them cool unevenly and
they warp. even new disks will do it. Or, you're in stop and go traffic and
your brakes are starting to fade (feel mushy) and you run through a big
ol' puddle... same thing.. warp city...

I bought my tires at "Johnson's Tire Service" here in Anchorage,
Alaska...they told me that they torque the bolts to the manufacturers
specs, but saying they do and actually doing it are two different
things!
