My R/T started to ping on 87 octance around the time they switch to oxygenated gas. I tried 89 octane but it would still ping at WOT above 4k. 93 cured the problem but haven't tried it on a hot day yet. The 180 thermostat is going in this weekend and staying for the warm season.
