I had the problem on my '92 on the roof back in 95 or so...I took it to the
dealer and they fixed it "free".....

The problem resurfaced on the rest of my truck (bed and fenders) and I
called the Chrysler 800 number....They had me take it to a local dealer who
recognisxed the problem immediately and recoommended that most all of my
truck be stripped and repainted.....Chrysker contacted me saying that
although the truck WAS in a state of delamination(thats the official name)
they couldn't do anything due to the trucks age and the 103,000 on the
ticker.....I said bullshit and played phone tag. I also went to my local
attorney franchise......He recommended a few things that I say and then how
to go about suing locally. I called Chryslker back and told them that I
wanted a repaint on their tab. They called back and said the 'best we can
do is...we'll pay $250 and you pay the rest" (on a $2,000 estimate!)....I
pushed it and we ended up where I pay $300 and they pick up therest...

They KNOW that the paint is a manufacturers defect, even if the truck is a
92......I maintain my blue beauty better than I maintain myself!

Like I have said...The squealy wheel gets the grease...and even if you dont
(seems though that most who push it DO win something) its worth a shot...
