I can vouch for not only perceived, but real performance gains when the truck is in "warm up" mode. I have found that my truck is consistently 2-3 tenths quicker and about .3 to .4 MPH faster in the 1/4 mile when run while at less than normal operating temperature. If somebody can figure out a way to "trick" the computer into this mode on command, I'm all for it.
