All of the test were done with the jet chip in except the last. The computer was reset before the last run when the jet was takin out. So after 4 pulls take the chip out reset the computer and 3 hp gain with removal. That should have been the lowest hp but it was the highest.

    Hey Todd,

I don't doubt that, in some cases, the chip won't work as desired...but send the results to JET and see what they say before you jump to conclusions. Couple things though:

    (1) Did you reset the computer before and after the tests?
    (2) Did you let the computer "relearn" the new settings before the tests?
    (3) What were the conditions of each test?

Myself and several others have noticed increases in performance (however slight) and have had great things to say about them.

Well here's some of the things we found out after about 3 pulls on the dyno. Mods = Gibson Catback, Magncor wires, Champion truck plugs, Jet stage II chip

        1st - Stock air box = 190.6 hp 248.8 torque
        2nd - Quick D intake = 199.1 hp 262.9 torque
3rd - Quick D without Jet = 201.0 hp 265.3 torque (that's right gained 2 hp by taking the jet off)

I believe were getting ripped off on the chip. 2 hp loss by adding the chip, I don't think so. I'm going to try to send mine back.

P.S. Robert I want say anything else.
