14.6? what else have you done to your truck? It took alot for my truck to run 14.7's and some giggle gas to run 13.1's. I'm shifting around 4900 each gear but if I hold it longer it runs out of umpf right around 5000. I want to put a cam in but I'm waiting for hypertech's module to eliminate the rev limiter

I found out something interesting a few weeks ago while racing my 99' 318 5-speed Dak, there seems to be a rev limiter at 4900 rpm's in first gear only. I would hit the limiter every time until I figured it out. In other gears the limiter comes in at 5400 rpm. When I race my truck, I shift at 4800 1st-2nd, 5300 2nd-3rd, 5400 3rd-4th, and let it wind out in 4th. My best time of 15.08 @ 92.02 was with this technique (The temp was 68F, my previous best of 14.68 @ 96.7 was with perfect traction, a ram air setup, and 27 F temps.).

I installed my Transgo shift kit today, and now if I stand on it, it bounces of the rev limiter in first gear. I think some others have had this problem. What did you do to cure this problem?
