If it means anything to you, I experienced the same noise(s) from my '97
V6. Seems to be a normal occurrence and pinpoints to the exhaust manifolds
and/or injector noise.

Check the bolts on the exhaust manifolds. I'll bet anything that they're
loose. (Dodge doesn't use gaskets on them nowadays.) The other place to
look is at the flanges on the ends of the manifolds. (I noticed that both
sides were very loose from the factory.)

As for the injector noise...that's normal. The ticking noise is the
opening and closing sounds from the injectors.
