I know it sounds silly, but Type-F works great in the old 727's and 904's
(and was unofficially approved by MOPAR a while ago for "Improved Shifting"
due to the Friction Modifier in the fluid (that's what the F stands
for...not Ford). It's basically the same thing as all those "Trick Shift"
fluids for automatics. Have you tried this yet? (Also works great in
TH350's and TH400's as well.)
