The oily vapor that is sucked into the intake is then burned in the cylinders
to help cut emissions that are venter into the atmosphere. This vapor also
lowers the octane rating of the gas so, if you are racing it is a good idea
to vent the engine to the atmosphere. Just be sure to make it so you can
change it back to stock if you have to pass emission testing.
