Actually, the Firehawk Package (RPO WU6) is available in either Formula
or Trans-Am versions (though the Formula is a lot less expensive). The
new ones I believe have 327hp (w/optional exhaust?). Why get a used
Firehawk when you can get a new Formula or Trans-Am (or a used '98)
that'll run just as quick if not quicker? I've seen times as low as
13.teens for stock Z28's in the last year or so. The factory is
underrating the new LS1 in the F-bodys at 305hp. A couple of mags have
Dyno tested these cars and the manuals (only tranny you should get) are
coming in at 292+ RWHP. Get a Hypertech, decent cat-back and shifter
and you're in the 12's.
