Drool. I think this is an awesome idea. Once I manage to get larger tires
on, they won't fit under the bed anyway, so there will be a good sized hole
there. All you'd need is a rear bumper with a roller fairlead mounted on
it and you'd be all set. The extra weight in the rear would help with
balance quite a bit too. Probably would be able to do without much of a
skid plate since you wouldn't be able to hit it very well anyway. Could
also run the mounting brackets (2x2 square tube?) underneath to prevent
damage.
The only drawback I see is that you still don't have a winch for the front
if that's where you need it.
