   I was reading through my '96 FSM today looking at something unrelated to
this, but I seem to recall reading that the PCM provides a ground to the AC
compressor clutch when it wants the A/C to come on. Seems like you'd be
able to put a switch in that wire (mounted in the cab)... That way, you
could leave it off except when you actually want the compressor to run.
