Don't know what you have or haven't tried yet, but here are a few ideas:
Alcohol
Bug and Tar Remover
Any of that stuff they make for removing glue residue
Even that engine degreaser probably won't hurt as long as you wash and
re-wax immediately (which you should do no matter what you use) Good Luck
