Have to disagree a little here. I end up running without OD and am not
turning to high a RPM at the end doing this which is 1.00 - 1 now the 5 speed
guys have to catch another gear to get to that ratio. We also have the TC
which does its thing with the ratios, changes the torque multiplication. So
in the 1/4 these birds have enough trouble getting through 3 gears without a
miss let alone 4. and I can't believe they can make 3 shifts faster than we
can 2 ?? Just my thoughts and I ain't gittin beat by no 5 speeds yet so it
all adds up to me :-) And actually their 1st is too low for anything but
getting ya out of shape on the starting line and 2nd is too high to start in
so I can't really see where the advantage is ? I know they can tear things up
quicker :-)
