So are you meaning the dash to be the radio...run the remote from the radio?
Or should I tap into the wire running to the stock amp in the kick panel?

Right side behind the kick panel......don't run the remote from there run it
from the dash.....easier to get to and maintain. On the 7 wire connector it
is the blue wire (I think) the #1 position.
