I agree with ya Tony,

My '97 Dak (with all mods in place) gets an average of 17mpg
(City/Highway/Commute)...with 4.10's and 32" tires. On my way out to Texas
from California, average speed was 70-75 (with a cover on the bed) and it
had an average of 20-21mpg. (Had 3.55's at that time with 31" Tires.)

(Driving style has a lot to do with it...and yes...offroad it gets around
12-14)
