You should try driving a Samuai in the mountains... 1.3L 4-banger... rated
at 60hp!!!
and at this altitude, you can knock 15-20% right off the top!... mine's also
high mileage and has low compression in #2 (valve problem- probably burned
exhaust valve)
end result- once you get up the hill from my house, the highway is a steady
light climb that I don't even notice in my Ram, but the 'zuki can only
manage 50mph for 2-3 miles before it levels out and I can hit 65-70.
I really need to do something about it, but 4Lo, 1st gear will crawl
over/through just about anything...
