Well, I finally installed these puppies. Up top was no problem, but
getting the pipes to line up was a bitch by myself. BTW, I did not use
the little cone adapters provided by JBA. Of course my pipes are larger
diameter than stock (2 1/4"vs 1 7/8"). These things reduced back
pressure even further and I now have a reversion pop noise between
shifts when accelerating hard. Bottom end torque has been noticeably
decreased, but midrange and top end seem stronger. These should work
well with the B&F TB and cam and head work that will be done soon. I
will get to the strip soon to see how the green monster responds in the
quarter mile.
