I basically have the same truck, except I have a kitty w/stock exhaust, and
I also have a K&N drop-in.

Hmmm good question on launch technique.. What I usually do is bring the RPM
up to 1500 and feather the clutch until the she starts to roll, then dump
the clutch and floor it. I shift at around 3000-3500 area...depends how the
truck feels... Sounds like you 3.55's... I have a 3.21 and run 2k@70mph..
