For light scuffs, I've found that GS37 (as seen on TV! :-) works
well. I've removed several from my tailgate, and they're virtually
invisible. In contrast to the TV ad, it doesn't work nearly as well on
actual scratches. It does have the advantage of being a non-abrasive
treatment. Its worth, IMO, for the scuffs that it'll handle well.
