Coincedence here,
I JUST got through with a Gibson cat back install on my '98 R/T. I mean
JUST now, I'm still wringing with sweat.
 I did drive it several miles though, and I can tell you it is more
quiet than the stock setup (good!). I feel it does perform a little
better too, which is also good!
I don't know about Flowmaster, but the Gibson I have is not loud.
It is a "straight through" muffler, but it's 5 1/2 inches longer than
the stock muffler. It even looks "stock", the tip is almost the same and
exits at the original location. Alan S.
