The proper install is to take off the upper radiator hose and place the
sensor in the radiator outlet/inlet with the flow. Then you bend the
wire tight back along the outside of the outlet towards the radiator, so
it lays flat for the hose to refit. To keep it from leaking, you're
supposed to tape down the sensor wire so it will be a smooth surface for
the hose to seal around.
