Recently, I had to drive over to the Downtown post office in late
afternoon when it was maximum temp. outside. I got there with no
problem, probably 20 mi. of fast hwy driving followed by sitting in the
parking lot for 15-20 min. waiting for my wife to come back outside.
I sat and watched the guage climb steady to about 210 before I killed
the A/C and rolled down the windows. The temp leveled off, but didn't
start to go back down until I started to drive again. Even then, the
temp went back to normal SLOWLY.
This is the only time so far I have had it get even remotely hot.
Normally, the truck runs a little cooler (about 175-200) than normal
with the elec. fans, even with the A/C. It's the sitting around after a
long fast drive that it doesn't like.
Are you (Gordon) going to the Motorplex this Fri. night?
